Week Ten: The World


The Third World War


"The global war no comes from nothing and there is always a 'spark' that causes a conflict or another to develop."


     Various conflicts taking place today in various parts of the world could have irreversible consequences for international peace and security. The US magazine "The National Interest" has listed a list of five current conflicts that pose a real danger to the community internacional. The first place is occupied by the conflict in Syria: the growth of the Islamic State raises concerns on the part of most world powers, Russia, USA and France included. Although the ultimate goal for countries fighting the terrorist organization is the same, their views on the future of Syria is different. Another focus is the open conflict between India and Pakistan, which may be exacerbated at any time. So, if radical groups financed by Pakistan made some attempt in India, this will soon respond.
